Why Choose Heart and Solberg?
At Heart and Solberg Kennels, we believe our Aussies are part of the family. Each one is raised in our home, has constant human interaction, training and love. Our Aussie moms and dad are registered with the American Kennel Club, are under the constant care of our local veterinarian. and have the necessary testings completed after the age of two. Please refer to each parent's page to learn about the results of their tests.
Diverse training is implemented as needed, such as obedience school, trips to public places, visits to see friends, the use of a training collar, and one on one time with mom or dad for focused training. Kennel time is reserved for the purpose of house training when our pups are young.
A partial raw diet is offered to our Aussies. Along with high quality dry food, they have access to a variety of beef meat bones, liver, yogurt and eggs. Sometimes they treat themselves to our garden veggies, such as carrots, cucumbers, green beans and especially raspberries.
We have a variety of personalities within our Aussie family, to meet the needs of everyone considering one of our pups - from energetic and confident to calm and gentle to playful.
We do not dock our litters' tails unless there's a request prior to birth. While docked tails is the standard of most canine clubs, at Heart and Solberg we appreciate and enjoy the natural look of a dog's backside. If you intend to obtain one of our pups for showing, please remember to ask about docked tails prior to the expected due date.
Meet Radon
I'm loving, a cuddler, loyal, playful, handsome and have a desire to please and be by mom and dad's side. I love the old fashioned game of chasing after sticks. I'm not aggressive with others, and love when we have visitors over.
Meet Lilly
I'm very social and enjoy it most when I'm with others, but I also like my alone time. I'm gentle with critters of all shapes and sizes. I have a good amount of energy, but know when to turn it off and settle down.
