Our Promise

At Heart and Solberg Kennels we are committed to raising beautiful, high quality, well socialized Australian Shepherds who are ready to become a part of your family. Each puppy lives in our home, is introduced to a variety sensories, and is given basic training, until it is ready to go to its forever home. Of course, each one is loved on and has constant human interaction.

Expectant and nursing mamas are given high quality nutrition that is passed on to their puppies. And litters that have transitioned to solid foods also have access to raw meat bones.

All of our moms and dad have genetic panel testing done through Paw Prints Genetics and the panels are available upon request, Hips and elbows are tested and evaluated by OFA at age two. Puppies are seen by our local vet for check-up and vaccinations, and will be dewormed at 2, 4 and 6 weeks before they go to their forever homes. Puppy dew claws are removed, however tails are only docked upon request (requests need to be made prior to birth and puppy needs to be chosen on the day of birth to have tail docked).

Our moms have differing personality types and character traits, ranging from...active to mildly active, to being content relaxing outdoors. All enjoy human interaction and touches. Some are self entertaining and others thrive on training. Our goal is match you with the personality that best fits your family, and we will offer continued support before, during, and after.

All of our moms and dad are registered with American Kennel Club as full bred standard Australian Shepherds and each new owner will be able to register their puppy with limited registration rights (no full breeding rights).
